Born in Italy in 1972, Filippo Taidelli graduated from Milan’s Politecnico in ’99 with a dissertation in Sustainable Design, which he researched and developed at E.T.S.A.M. in Madrid under the tutorship of Ábalos&Herreros.He furthered the experimentation and practice in environmentally sensitive design at Mario Cucinella Architects in Bologna in the role of lead architect from 2000 to 2005.

In 2005, he opened the studio FTA in Milan.

Since 2005, Filippo Taidelli has been Visiting Professor at Scuola Politecnica di Design in the Master's courses of Interior Design and Office Design.

From 2007 to 2012 he was Adjunct Professor of Interior Design in the Faculty of Design at Milan ‘s Politecnico.

Since 2011 he has been Tutor in the “Master in Sustainable Architecture“ at the IED Istituto Europeo di Design in Turin.

FTA is currently developing project in Italy, Albania and China. Among the studio’s most recent realizations are:

• the new holding offices and landscape for Istituto Clinico Humanitas in Rozzano (MI)

• the new 6,000 sqm headquarter office for the engineering company Techint in Mexico City

• the refurbishment and expansion of the Internazionale F.C. training facility, in Appiano Gentile (CO), Italy. This 4,500 sqm project won the “Next Energy Award 2008: towards efficiency and renewable resources”

• the integral refurbishment of the historical, 2,500 sqm residential building in Via Zenale, located in Milan’s city center. This project won “Bio Architecture Award 2011”; “Under 40 2011”; “World Architecture Award 2010”.

• the design of “ALA”: a low consumption high performance led lamp for FontanaArte
